Delay/Disruption Tolerant Networking for Lunar CubeSat Communications

Kontur, N. et al.

Built simulations for Delay/Disruption Tolerant Networks (DTN) — the protocol for deep space missions. Designed a 4-CubeSat configuration for lunar orbit that outperformed NASA's previous proposal on both performance and cost. These simulations are being used for the Human Landing System (next-generation moon missions).
